IVA.co.uk Debt Evening

IVA.co.uk is holding a Debt Evening - an informal discussion about the topical problem of debt in the
UK – on 2nd May 2007 at The Hatton, Farringdon.

An expert panel will take part in an hour-long debate, with Zoe-Anne Phillips, the face of IVA TV, fielding questions from audience members.

I’ll be taking part as a member of the panel which will consist of:

- Melanie Giles, an insolvency practitioner with over 20 years experience. Melanie is also a regular expert poster on the IVA.co.uk forum

- Andy Davie (me!), IVA.co.uk’s spokesperson and site manager. I recently completed my own IVA.

- A key figure from the banking world, TBC

Doors will open at 6:30pm and the debate will start at 7:30pm finishing at 8:30pm after which there will be wine and an opportunity for relaxed post-discussion talk with the panel and audience.

The debt is being held at The Hatton, 51-53
Hatton
Garden,
London EC1N 8HN.

A day in the office

Wednesday, April 4th, 2007

Well I spent a day in the office that supports IVA.co.uk,based in West Ealing, London.

Its about a two and a half hour drive[50 miles] and would probably be quicker on a bike !!.

I had a look at the forum members in detail and its amazing that out of the 1500 that we have most are still active and have logged onto the site recently.Another interesting point is that the majority of posters on the forum are female[does it mean that us blokes simply bury our head in the sand].

I will be emailing most members after Easter to ask their view on the forum and to gain further information about them. There is a feel in the office that IVA.CO.UK will continue to grow and will continue to be the UKs leading online IVA community for information, advice and support.

I am also hoping to arrange meetings throughout the country so that I can meet you all and have a good natter about the one thing that we all have in common.DEBT
